According to article 204 c.v. with article 38 of the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism starting from January 1, 2024, the ban on cash payments in the amount of over 2,000 euros will enter into force. (that is, the previous ban on cash payments of 3,000 euros will be replaced) or more in denar equivalent value in the form of one or more obviously related transactions, which was not carried out through a bank, savings bank or through an account in another institution that provides payment services.
The legal provision has not changed for now.
